UID&s researcher Linda Bogren has been working in a project with Traffic Safety Center North, TSCN where she has been an illustrator of sorts. Linda has illustrated the ideas and facts of the TSCN&s staff, without interfering. The aim of the project is to prevent the injuries caused by rescue workers in rescue situations. TSCN have worked for about six months to create some kind of mechanical training dummy for the rescue workers to practice on.
On Wednesday TSCN was here for an idea-generating workshop with Linda Bogren, Catharina Henje and Fredrik Nilbrink. In the workshop they used design methodology to tackle the problem in the best way and give the participants the possibility to think bigger. The workshop made it possible for the partakers to see potential in their work, to use a flexible technique for a flexible product, and to see how other fields may also utilize the product, which would make financing the product easier.
