"I wish I had more time to visit schools." Cornelia Funke
This week UID was visited by eight ambassadors from Romania, Botswana, Philippines, New Zealand, Norway, Latvia, Zambia and Tunisia, all of them members of an international network for female ambassadors. They wanted to learn more about the motives for Umeå&s growth and development. Lena Gustafsson, the new vice-chancellor of Umeå University and municipal commissioner Marie-Louise Rönnmark accompanied the ambassadors. Maria Göransdotter held a presentation about the school and then guided the ambassadors through UID. The visit was concluded with a tour of Umeå School of Architecture.
