During two days UID pulsated of student presentations, parties, mingling, happenings and the excellent degree exhibition.
Designers and industry representatives from all over the world gathered to take part of the work of the graduating students. Besides the extraordinary keynote speech from designer Richard Seymour, each graduating student had a 5-minute presentation; totally there were 43 student presentations during the event. UID&11 was also an important arena for companies to find future co-workers. The recurrent element where companies review student portfolios was extremely popular this year - more than 30 companies asked to meet students from the various programmes, to recruit them for internships or employment. Many industry representatives also made short corporate presentations about their design activities. Among them were Bosch Design, BMW, Atlas Copco and Epsilon.
