The Experience of Scandinavian Water Luxury

4-week project in collaboration with FM Mattsson Mora Group


The objective was to imagine, express and create both a product design and an user experience that should convey the feeling of luxury while utilizing a water mixer or dispenser of some kind.
In a busy and intrusive world, people increasingly value time and space for enjoying special moments and extraordinary experiences either alone or with loved ones. There are many definitions of what luxury is, one of the more humble ones is: "Something adding to pleasure or comfort but is not absolutely necessary." Seen in the context of enhancing, celebrating and sharing the experience of Scandinavian water luxury, the main questions the students were asked to define, ideate and conceptualize from was: What is or should water luxury be and how could that manifest itself in an Mora branded product? 


At the final presentation the students presented their concept with a physical model, a poster and a short 'photo-sketching-movie' displaying the intended user experience.
