MFA Degree project in Advanced Product Design

20-week course


The degree projects covered as diverse themes as; autonomous paving in future megacities without obstructing traffic, increased comfort and safety for infants when traveling by plane, enabling asthmatics having an active lifestyle, motorcycle transport of specimen samples in Africa, an autonomous harvester for thinning smaller trees, growing your own grasshoppers in the home with a table-top household appliance, a new logistic system for transporting containers, a de-construction robot for concrete and an environmentally friendly harvester inspired by nature.
This wide span of new ideas and designs to improve and enrich our daily life is an indicator of the design opportunities just waiting to be identified and addressed by the professional industrial designer.
