2013 Degree Projects

MFA Degree project in Advanced Product Design

20-week course

The degree projects 2013 covered as diverse and challenging themes as; a conceptual rail track layer (based on on-site research in India), a hand washing station (based on on-site research in Kenya), an aid to assist Parkinson patients with leg weakness, a cooking concept for one-person households, a space-efficient night train interior, the next generation of ergonomic breakers, a wearable respiratory system for children and a concept for a horse saddle specially designed for therapy riding.
This wide span of new ideas and designs to improve and enrich our daily life is an indicator of the design opportunities just waiting to be identified and addressed by the professional industrial designer.
