Research funding

The below foundations are the some of the main sources for research funding in Sweden. Types of research activities that can be funded are basic research projects, projects within a specific area or topic, conference support, post-doc positions, visiting professors etc., depending on the foundation aims and on the formulation of the calls. A more extensive list of national research funding organisations is found here. For deadlines and guidelines, see the information on the respective sites. Grant's Office at UmU can assist with information about EU project applications and other international research cooperations.
