In this project, the problems with today’s pre-hospital equipment for fixation and immobilization of trauma patients were analyzed with specific methods to find the best concept that answers present and future demands.

With the ScoopX System stretcher made of carbon fiber (which can be used with all existing X-ray techniques) the patient can be scooped from an uneven surface to prevent additional pain and is fixated by a one-piece harness that prevents pressure wounds.
